IRS-certified tax assistance volunteers from the Lompoc AARP Foundation are making tax preparation appointments for community members through April 13.
The 2021 tax deadline is April 18.
Community members are encouraged to contact 805-717-1302 to schedule a tax filing time at a location to be disclosed.
Documents to leave with tax preparers after providing proof of identity include all 2021 tax documents and 2020 tax returns.
Once a customer’s return is complete, pickup will be arranged.
The service is free and open to all taxpayers.
Lompoc high school alumni association offering scholarships to alumni

Lompoc Family YMCA aims to raise $90,000 for its annual campaign
The Lompoc Family YMCA has announced a fundraising goal of $90,000 for its upcoming 2022 annual campaign, which will provide outreach programs, financial assistance and access to opportunities for those in need.
According to a YMCA spokesperson, every dollar raised during the annual campaign is used to place children and families in need in YMCA programs, including full-time child care and fitness programs. outdoors for all ages.
