Tipaltia software company specializing in accounts payable and global partner payments workflows, announced new features for its accounts payable automation solution that improve its communication and documentation capabilities.
The two new features are called Bill Talk and Bill Docs.
Bill Talk will allow customers to send messages via chats with approvers, tag team members in an invoice, automatically send emails to tagged users, and respond to tags via email without need to connect to Tipalti.
Bill Docs, on the other hand, offers sports features that allow users to upload and review invoice-related documents, access documents through Tipalti’s approval email without needing to connect, pin relevant documents to invoices such as a contract or receipt, attach documents to messages in Bill Parlez and automatically attach the body of an email.
Tipalti developed the new features because most of the dialogues between buyers and approvers take place outside the context of the invoice itself, which can sometimes lead to questions and answers tracking issues, repeated interactions and delays.
“The AP process has always been the most time-consuming function in finance,” said Roby Baruch, Chief Product Officer at Tipalti. “One of the biggest issues cited by finance teams is the chaotic back and forth of invoice approvals. These features are the latest example of how Tipalti is reshaping the way businesses manage their financial operations by eliminating manual and time-consuming processes.
